China opens up imports of barley and corn from Kazakhstan

 According to the latest news from the General Administration of Customs of China, the fourth regular meeting between the prime ministers of China and Kazakhstan will be held in Beijing on November 22. During the period, witnessed by the prime ministers of the two countries, the Director General of the General Administration of Customs Ni Yuefeng and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Isaieva formally signed the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Barley from China to Kazakhstan and the Export of Maize to China Phytosanitary Requirements Protocol. The signing of the protocol indicates that Kazakhstan ’s barley and corn can be exported to China.

 

 

In recent years, as China and Kazakhstan announced the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership, the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of economy, trade and agriculture has been expanding. Opening up the import of barley and corn in Kazakhstan will not only help to further promote the economic and trade development of China and Kazakhstan, but also help to broaden the import channels of barley and corn in China to meet the needs of domestic feed, wine and energy industries.
